This morning after breakfast proceed on a city tour of Thimphu visiting King's Memorial Chorten (Monument), National Zoo, National Library (Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Govt Holidays), School of Arts and Crafts (Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Govt Holidays), Buddha Point, Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and Govt Holidays).
Overnight in Thimphu (B, D)
This morning, drive to Punakha, also known as 'The Cleanest Village' of the Kingdom (alt. 3150 Mts.). En-route visit the Dochu La Pass - marked by a large array of prayer flags and a Chorten. On a clear day a close-up view of the Bhutan's highest Himalayas bordering China can be seen.
Post lunch, in the afternoon, proceed on a city tour of Punakha visiting the Punakha Dzong built at the confluence of the Po and Mo Chu Rivers in the 17th Century by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and served as capital of Bhutan until 1955. The Dzong houses sacred artifacts and the embalmed body of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel.
Note: The Punakha Dzong is closed in winter months when the monk's body is in Punakha. All visits to Dzong and Monasteries are limited till the courtyard only.

Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue (B, D)
This morning, drive to Paro. On arrival, check-in to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure. You can visit the local market and shop for the famous for bamboo and stone artifacts! (Shopping on your own).
Overnight in Paro (B, D)
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing of Paro with visit to the National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities. Also visit Paro Dzong, which was built and consecrated in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. This Dzong is also the administrative seat of the district of Paro and it also contains a state monastic community of about 200 members. Drugyal Dzong - built sometime in 1647 to celebrate the Bhutanese victory over the Tibetans. Later, it served as a seat to the Lord of Drugyal region. While coming back from Drugyal Dzong Kyichu monastery. The evening ends with a walk through the Paro's main shopping district. The local shops sell a variety of goods-groceries, textiles as well as prayer flags.

Today, after breakfast drive back to Phuentsholing - the western gateway to the south and thriving commercial trade Centre on the northern edge of the Indian plains.
On arrival you will check-in to your hotel.
